  • Vietnam Survivors Memorial (815 S. Oakley), 1987: “One of the quirkiest pieces of folk art is this assemblage of ten cast iron columns taken from the interior of the Page Bros. Building and arranged around a granite marker.  Structural engineer, Vietnam veteran, and preservationist William Lavicka erected the memorial on his property with the help of other volunteer veterans.” (AIA, p. 278)
