Tri-Taylor Association was originally incorporated in 1989. Many of the people who were involved in obtaining historic district status for much of the neighborhood in 1983 (expanded in 1988), were active in creating the TTA. The TTA was responsible for the creation of the cul-de-sac at Polk and Ogden (~1996) and the Catrambone Plaza at Bowler and Polk (1997). The association became dormant in the early 2000s.
The Tri-Taylor Community Association was reformed in 2014 and expanded to include the area west of Western and east of the railroad tracks and a small residential area south of Roosevelt. TTCA adopted its first by-laws on December 12, 2014, and hopes to obtain 501c3 status soon.
